There are many activities and venues to enjoy in the Midlands.

Midlands Meander
Started in 1985 when a group of crafters came together to create an art and craft route, the Midlands Meander has grown into a vibrant network. It now consists of art studios, country hotels, herb and flowers farms, guest houses and tea gardens, country pubs, health hydros, craft, pottery and weaving workshops, breweries and wine barns.

Michaelhouse School
This prestigious School founded in 1896 with Chapel originally designed by Sir Herbert Baker, Bossanyi stained Glass Windows. Set in Beautiful grounds. Book in advance for the Hilton/Michhaelhouse and Speech Day weekends.

Midmar Dam
One of the Largest man made lakes in the country. Midmar Dam covers 4600ha with a shoreline of over 60km and offers a variety of water-borne pursuits. In February every year the dam hosts the Midmar mile. Book accomodation in advance for the Midmar mile weekend.

Boschhoek Golf Course
In the 1960's Punch Barlow commissioned Bob Grimsdel to converting the maize fields of Bosch Hoek Farm into what is today an idyllically golf course. The first drive was struck in 1963, the course was strictly private for more than 30 years. Thankfully, this is no longer the case the club now welcomes visitors.
